I listened to her last album and just thought it was OK. Nothing from it really grabbed me and it didn't seem to do anything new. I don't care for her lyrics or her voice either, some of the songs were catchy but they didn't emotionally move me past a slight head bob. Nothing was really out there enough to see what the hype was about. It sounds like something that plays in a shopping mall clothes store. The sounds of the instruments and the production were kinda nice but I don't see how it sticks out as best of 2014 at either of those things.
