Goddamn I fucking love Neurosis. I don't think post- anything is that good of a genre name since they're nowadays too often connected to the sound and structure instead of just being out of the box rock or metal music.
I've been calling Neurosis atmospheric metal and sludge only for ages, and ISIS for me sounds too much like a metal version of GYBE which in itself is actually fucking amazing but sometimes it just bothers me. So I'm not sure what genre to call ISIS, it's the most post-metal definiton for me if GYBE is the equivalent of post-rock.
