I don't know. I think metal as evolved past slow tempos and tritones. Bands these days are taking influence from punk by revving the engines into complete overdrive. Also,, bands like Scorpions are adding some classical influence into their sound. I don't think we'll have bands that sound remotely like Black Sabbath for a couple of more years, because currently, metal is about evolution.
