I'm not OP, just sharing my opinion. Honestly rating on a 5 star scale is kind of hard with those 4, Nebraska is a very slow album, The River and Darkness on the Edge of Town are done more traditional with some fast paced tracks and some downer ones that come out of nowhere. Born to Run is pretty much non stop high paced rock and roll. I think you could rate them all differently depending on which style you tend to like more. If you forced me to rate them out of five I'd give Darkness and The River 5 stars and Nebraska and Born to Run 4 stars.

hmm interesting. I listened to it a few years ago but don't remember much about it, I'll have to give it another shot. I think his recent collaborations have drifted away from stereotypical onkyo quite a lot. I saw him with jason kahn, tetuzi akiyama, and bryan eubanks a few months ago and the set was surprisingly active and free improv-like.
