Not really, because the point of the argument was saying that "dated" is not a valid argument, instead of determining which one of those was better or worse.
Personally, I never liked the "dated" argument. Sounds "cheap" for someone to expect for an album to sound good for himself after all that time. I mean, would you say Baroque sounds dated? Because I would, but I would never use that as an argument to determine it's quality.
