This board has been terrible ever since it got taken over by college-age and less fags from tumblr who wank off over memes, hip hop, and the massive intersection between the two. I guarantee if hiro made a segregated /hiphop/ board the post quality on /mu/ as well as the average user age would skyrocket overnight.
You shouldn't expect good music discussion in a place like 4chan. Serious music discussion requires a level of respect for other people's opinions that's impossible to find on here.
