The critiques I've read of this album so far have all, without fail, fallen into one of these two categories.
>It's pop, I dont like pop, therefore the album is bad
>It's different than Visions and Realiti demo, therefore it is bad
Never heard any objective criticism of this album except some people sometimes saying things about some of the uses of guitar samples.
Kill v. Maim, Flesh without blood, Pin, California, Venus Fly, and Butterfly are all some of the best pop songs of the year, and the album is solid overall. Not a single song is bad.

A lot of people criticizing Art Angels don't even like pop music in the first place.
She should have renamed the realiti album version as Realiti (Grimes' Art Angels Remix) or something, because at this point it feels like a remix of the demo

Witchouse is a fusion of shoegaze, hip-hop and sometimes chopped and screwed with a spooky aesthetic and atmosphere. I agree that Visions isn't really witchouse though.

I think it was on Rede TV, not even yesterday really. My mom was watching and I went to grab some water and they were talking about the album, lol.
I've previously heard some Sigur Rós and Neutral Milk Hotel songs on TV and Radiohead's "Reckoner" playing on the radio, but this is the first time I see a /mu/core album being talked about on TV like this.
