acid and shrooms can make you see some stuff about yourself you may have been on denial of, but is kinda risky, some people cant handle it and they completly freak out.

but as everyrhing, if you abuse it it can damage you.
benzos are nice if you have anxiety (like me) but they are physically adictive and dangerous so stay away from them if you dont have a good control of yourself (you cant know this if you havent done any drugs)
alcohol and cigarretes are shit-tier, nothing worth it.
but having a close group of good friends is the better than any drug (maybe except for IV heroin but that is cheating and it ruins people's life so is a no no)

I would say any music that attempts to capture or recreate the hyper-stimulated psychedelic mindset, especially through heavy use of effects, dense and often "scatterbrained" composition and lyrics that deal with spiritual or abstract subject matter.
It is extremely hard to describe to people who have not had psychedelic experiences, partially because 'trips' are so subjective.
