Just an idea I've been musing with
Critiques would be wonderful!

I'm loving that guitar sound you have, and the chords are sweet, nice work bro
>>61394115
it sounds good, but it's gets pretty monotonous after the one minute mark.
>>61394115
I just want to add that while the chords are great, they get stale after constantly repeating them. add more sections, use those chords as an intro and then have another set of chords as a verse, then a set for a chorus, and you have a solid pop song in your hands

Oh I know, this is a very short melodic idea that I had looped for future reference and forgotten to shorten
Sorry about that!

Working on anything exciting recently?
>>61394310
not really, but i did release "phase1.0" as an e.p.
i might do physical copies someday, but i'm not sure if anyone would buy them. both because i don't have much of an active fanbase and because i've been kind of getting mixed signals
not like one half going "this is great" to "this sucks", but from "this is great" to dead silence. i don't have much to work with, honestly.

Oh shit, that's really pretty, anon. Sort of melancholy. Happy lyrics would be an interesting contrast.
>>61394216
This is nice.
>>61394382
I'm pretty much in that scenario as well
Well, keep at it mate, because I love your stuff a lot!
>>61394385
Thanks! Yeah, this is going to be the intro to an extended instrumental piece (in the vein of something like Tortoise or Slint), so who knows what I'll do lyrically!
>>61394435
yeah, it's pretty aggravating.
on that note, thank you. you're stuff is great as well. take care, dude.

Thinking about playing this at an open mic, its a cover Burn After Writing by Menzingers
>>61394744
I would add a tad of grit to your voice, but otherwise this cover is really good!

what
http://vocaroo.com/i/s01ER4Eu2Rxr
I sang over a Chopin sample in order to complement an original song I'd recorded. The opening lyrics were meant to introduce the protagonist and his impending journey that happens in the song. Give me your thoughts. I'm using this in my upcoming demo.
Lyrics at the beginning:
"When the escaping wind
Undressed a putrid thought,
It took note of how sad
He was -- he is alone with
The pack in his mind --
He does not exist in thoughts
But in sense
He is blowing away
Unaccompanied but determined"
