That was something that threw me off, actually. Panda and Avey don't usually co-sing on songs like they do on Floridada. You can clearly tell who's Avey and who's Panda on the harmony, it creates this weird juxtaposition that isn't present on any of their other releases I can think of.

I listened to the samples for the first time since they leaked last night. I think this is gonna be a good one. The samples have grown a lot and even the songs I didn't like (Bagels and Grass) seem pleasant now. Bagels does still seem a little cheesey thought.
I was thinking, they said that this is their least "soupy" album and you can totally tell that from the samples. That was actually what disappointed me about CHZ was that it lacked any sort of liquidity. The reason that that lack of soup didn't work on CHZ was that it seemed like those songs were written to be soupy, based on the live shows prior to the album release. Like Father time totally should have had an extended intro but they just totally cut it out. Same with Wide Eyed. CHz was supposed to be a soupy album but they made it dry.
This is supposed to be a dry album, so since it was written to be like that I have high hopes that it's gonna be good.
