Overrated is a pointless term it doesn't describe how good the band actually is and no one agrees what it actually means, half the people in this thread will post bands that are massively popular but have never been critically praised that much, or are not even particularly considered to be an amazing band in general but are big because they had a couple of big pop hits. Does the "rated" part refer to popularity or how much they are viewed as a brilliant artistic band?
