I used to listen to them when I was 15 and loved them. They're okay to me now but back in the day they were all I fuckin listened to.

It's never been socially unacceptable to listen to Korn outside of crowds made up of 22+ year old hipsters. On the other hand, I'm waiting for it to become acceptable to listen to Limp Bizkit again, they're great and are just now starting to break that 'universally-accepted-as-terrible' stigma.
Doing uncool things has been cool since the 90s, so go for it.
