I just listened to the Wall yesterday again, definately not comparable to their previous work like Meddle
Still, lyrics don't matter too much to me. To be honest, I don't like voice in general, if you want to say something might as well write a poem

i was listening to it earlier today as well as ummagumma and i must say that its almost impossible to compare the two as they are completely different stylistically.
their early stuff is more psychedelic and their later stuff is more prog, and when i think of the wall as a prog album i enjoy it more
