Script of The Bridge > Unknown Pleasures

Why did Joy Division get so much attention when more deserving bands (like Chameleons) get so comparatively little recognition?

The Chameleons are a good launching point for post-punk. Most of if not all post-punk qties can be attributed to their them but beyond that they lack the experimentation and substance of their contemporaries.

Which is the album with "Nostalgia" on it? I still think that's one of the greatest 80's pop-rock tracks. NOS-TAL-GIA WILL LEAD ME UH-WAY...

"Swamp Thing" is outstanding, but I'm pretty sure that one's not on SOTB.

It's actually a single but a bonus track on What Does Anything Mean Basically cd and Fan & Bellows compilation

Swamp's on Strange Times

I see. Looking over the track listing for SOTB, I'd say the following songs are classics: Don't Fall, Monkeyland, and View From a Hill. There may be others; I haven't listened through it for a while.
