Are headphone maps worth it? Have 100 bucks to blow on something and thinking of grabbing one for using when I go to the gym or whatever when I have to use my phone as the source for my music.

Portable headphone amps are a joke unless you're using $200 in ear monitors listening to FLAC files. If you're using it with apple headphones then don't even bother.
