Getting into 80's punk/rock/pop
What are you recently getting into?

Synth-punk stuff, as well as twee. I bought myself a synth not long ago so I've been looking at music that will influence me. As for the twee, I have a semi-hollowbody guitar that has some very jangly clean sounds so likewise I'm listening to stuff that will influence my guitair playing.

Strawberry Switchblade are good fun. Listening to some of their demos is very interesting given the contrast between that and the stuff on their album.

I think Ausmuteants are just fantastic, I can't get enough of them. Total Control whildt less driven by synth also incorporate it into their sound. Siekiera is also another one, darker sounding.
I've been listening to a bit if Devo, Suicide and minimal type stuff like Oppenheimer Analysis.
