To Pimp a Butterfly is good at best. The message isn't new and is a shifty message (black culture to stop acting like niggers for people to accept them, i/e self hate). The production is done well and many of the songs are catchy, but none of the beats are truly groundbreaking IMO. I can break down more of it if you want. I'm just tired of all of the unanimous praise this album gets from people.
