Try Phil Elverum
Both Mount Eerie and The Microphone have fantastic albums. Phil has an immense discography, filled with great albums. Even his lesser known stuff is great.
Starting with The Glow Pt.2 is a good choice, especially with your current taste. But if you like Black Metal, then Wind's Poem is a great starting point.
