Yeah honestly I also didn't like Death Grips at first when I listened to Exmillitary. I didn't see the appeal and thought people were actually joking when they were talking about how good they were.
Then /mu/ explained the death grips to me, and I like the distance that they kept from the media and fans and fucked with everyone. Then I gave Exmilitary another shot, and i never looked back. And this was right before "Jenny Death When?" started going on, so I was forced to ride the hype train. But I soon developed stockholm syndrome.
I went to a concert over the summer and now have 2 death grips shirts and own all their albums.
