it's really really fun. i love the pre-chorus with the super fast avey singing. a better chorus would've really elevated it, it's too chaotic and repetitive for my taste.

Yes me too. It's extremely uplifting too, so it helps on the mood if you're had a rough day etc. Not annoyingly happy like Centipede either.

Looking forwards to the full length but i wont be listening to floridada anymore. Did not grow on me. Listened about 5 times and ive had enough.

I kind of agree with this, except I love the chorus. It's a bit simplistic, but I love the chaos. Like, the chorus somewhat rises in a chaotic way, and then lands properly on the "Floridada, Floridada"

I don't know, it manages to be pretty typical AnCo goodness but without all the reverb and over-production that their latest albums have used. It's great.

Also, a bridge about bridges is always a good thing.

It's interesting - a lot of people have said that AnCo haven't made a GREAT song since MPP (ODDSAC doesn't count because those songs were written before MPP) and while I don't agree with that at all, I've noticed that the really good songs since then tend to be "downers" (Crimson/Gotham, New Town Burnout, Amanita, even the great songs off Down There, Tomboy and PBvsGR are rather gloomy or at least bittersweet). Honeycomb and Little Fang aside, this is the first really joyous AnCo song that has hit the mark for me since 2009. It feels authentic to me.
