ITT: Dance Rock
I'm looking for rock songs/bands you can dance to (instead of electro). That is, music like most songs of Eagles Of Death Metal and, suprisingly, Led Zeppelin's 'Trampled under Foot'. What wikipedia labels as 'dance rock' is largely not what I have in mind. So I'm kinda lost on this and need your help!

I'd recommend some LCD Soundsystem or Soulwax if that's what you're looking for.

I didnt know this! Seems to be pretty cool music, but then again already too funky.

thats nice for sure, but got this 80s vibe I'm trying to avoid in my dance rock collection :D

LCD soundsystem sounds interesting, I'll check more of them later!
Soulwax is cool, but basically electro :D
I guess whats important for my vision of dance rock is that it has a common rock setup, like EODM, just with guitars, bass, and infectious drums!

ouh, thats much! Thanks man! I'll check that later :)

No problem, brother. I have craved more of this dancey rock n roll for an eternity now and no one ever really has any recommendations for me or understands what I'm looking for so I am glad to have been able to actually help someone! Presumably you also listen to Queens of the Stone Age

yea sure! I've been browsing so much music (and there's evidently so much good music out there, including what wiki labels dance rock), but concerning this style, I really found very little. Maybe I should just start a band :D
