I love your music dude, your voice is so wholesome and bluesy. The instrumentation is wonderfully done as well. I didn't really like the track with the programmed hi-hats as the hi-hats were mixed weird and threw off the whole track but other than that, I dig this tremendously.

This is interesting but at the same time there's really no substance to it. I mean the 2nd track is basically vaporwave? Not "bad" by any means, but it doesn't do anything for me.
>>61250245
I really like the syncopation you use here and the variation in the underlying beat, it adds a new level of excitement to your music. Cover art is also badass.
>>61250290
I mean it's what I expected from "bedroom pop," but this is soooo much better executed than most of the music I hear from that genre in BC threads. Your music is very sad. I like it.

anyways, I really enjoy the variety present on this. I think that's the biggest tool an artist has and I'm glad you're utilizing it. It's not remarkable but it's nice, and I have a feeling you were aiming for something you could just have fun with anyways so you did a fine job man.

You've got an interesting sound and your vocal delivery and vocabulary is decent too. What you need to work on is how you present it, because while I think this is pretty decent; it doesn't feel like it's as serious as it could be.

This is really sweet, dude. I had a girlfriend a while back who would've loved this. Your voice is incredible and all your songs have just a wonderful atmosphere to them. Makes me sad. I have to stop listening or I'll get more sad.
Also the noise in "Pasture Grazing" really caught me off-guard, but I feel like it has a place in the album and somehow fits. Kudos.
>>61251465
Your album art is SO DOPE but the music is kinda sub-par. Sorry, there's just really not anything that sets it apart from generic Soundcloud beats.
>>61251619
You're really not doing anything new here with the drums+bass+sad guitar riff combo. But you're doing it really well. I really like how the drums build and then cease and then build again. Also the guitarwork is really top-notch, although I wish it wasn't so fuzzy sounding.
Did you do this all by yourself? I'm impressed. I would recommend some better recording equipment but this is really solid and I bookmarked it.
>>61251697
I fucking HATE house music haha, my dumbass friend plays it constantly (he's from AZ so that can be expected). But in the scheme of house music, this isn't too bad. The first track seems a bit atonal in the bass but the samples are cool though a bit generic. The second track definitely flows together more coherently. Solid release from what I listened to. But I still can't stand house music. Sorry.
>>61251720
Holy shit hahahaha you made a grindcore remix of Smells Like Teen Spirit this is fucking hilarious. But the vocals suck and the mixdown is garbage. I'm sorry I like to do more positive criticism than negative but please, please do better next time.

A Naked Body.... guy here. Thanks for the input. This is one of our more generic, post rock songs, but a lot of our other stuff has elements of post punk and shoegaze worked in, along with vocals. Unfortunately this is the only stuff we have up. The quality is due to it just being a demo, we are fixing to record our first full length soon, but we're all still in high school, so we're limited on time and money.

I mean don't get me wrong, I've been torn to fucking pieces on this board for some of my earlier albums. I've improved from it and negative criticism is definitely a good thing as long as it's CONSTRUCTIVE.
It just makes me feel like a piece of shit because I know I'm causing that "my music sucks" feeling to someone. I think everyone has potential and I hope I don't kill anyone's drive to make music by my comments.
>>61251988
This is a live set? I fucking love the drums. You both have a lot of synergy in what you're doing. Keep it up.

Wait I've totally heard your album "Leviathan" before. Probably in one of these threads. Your riffs are solid and I really like how your style has varied as you've progressed as an artist. I got your latest track to play, it must've been my hotel internet being a shit. I haven't heard the original song, but your rendition sounds fantastic, especially the guitar work and the vocals.

This is some of my favorite stuff I've heard on this thread so far. Really like what you're doing instrumentally and the atmosphere you're setting. However, as some one I think has already pointed out, the vocals could use a little work. Definitely something I'm going to listen to some more though.
>>61252424
Haha, I keep running into people who remember Leviathan, which I think is funny because I released it super lowkey alongside my split with my best friend (the Wheel Of Sun And Time: Amid The Ocean album), since Leviathan is just my half of the split. Fucking makes my day that you remember it though, and I appreciate the hell out of your comments. I wanted to somehow stay true to the original but add my own ideas, like the strings and screams in the chorus. So glad you enjoyed, man. If I can't find my headphones I'll just bookmark everyone in here I haven't heard before and if the thread is still up I'll leave f eedback in a little bit.

>>61253127
It's not simple, it's nonsense. Seriously, though, what does that sentence even mean?
>>61253270
It's fine. To put it short, I was addicted to drugs in high school but I got really involved with a girl before I left for college and with her help I quit because she was something that made me happy besides oxycontin. But she broke up with me at the end of the summer and I'm not really sure why she left. I'm over it now, I mean we broke up at the end of summer so it's been a while, but I relapsed into my old drug habits and that still hasn't changed. My current (now) ex-girlfriend broke up with me a few days ago so it hasn't exactly been a merry Christmas for me.
And on that note, goodnight /mu/, I'm going to bed. Have a wonderful Christmas morning and a happy new year.
>>61253327
