I'm trying to make a mixtape but I can't seem to get the vocals right. I have spent a lot of time writing and selecting beats/themes.
My recording sounds awful. Would it be worth it to get some professional recording at a studio and have an engineer do exactly what I want with my tracks instead of me trying to do this on my own? I have very limited production knowledge

torrent logic, it's great for amateur level mixing and song production like this. It comes with some built in denoisers that will save your life
beats do a decent job of hiding microphone noise if you've already gone a good distance to eliminate unwanted sounds
record it anyway, doesn't matter if it sounds like dirt, the first projects always sound like dirt. if you need a feature on the 2nd project lmk lol
