if you like 80s punk, pixies' surfer rosa is essential, and in general, anything produced by steve albini should grab you.

I dunno if I should, but I feel intensely depressed tonight. It's Christmas Eve, and most of my friends are off doing things with their families and close friends. Even my most depressed, pathetic friend has plans with is other friends. I was out of the area for a couple years, and now I'm irrelevant to most of my friends' lives, even though I've been back for 5 months now. For a while I was going out regularly with some people from my work, but they're off with their own social groups. Whatever, fuck it, I'm leaving the area on the 4th of January anyway, but I feel intensely lonely sitting here in an empty house.
