Post your amps
heh, i just sold my old 15g for 40 bucks
>>61238364
wait...this is the one I own
>>61238385
MG's are really bad amps though, you should look for an used Valvestate VS100, practically the same price but way better sounds. And damn are those things loud, easily the loudest amp I've ever owned
>>61238548
you must have only owned 2 amps. MG and VS
Vox ac-15
>>61238548
I figured they weren't the best. It was a Christmas gift though.
Not my photo obviously.
fender frontman 15r
it's decent as a practice amp and it's well priced. i like that it has inbuilt reverb.
>>61238587
I've never owned a MG, got one Line 6 and an Orange currently. Sold my VS a while ago and regret it, it was a really fun amp tbqh
>>61238600
It's a good amplifier to start with and play around @ home, don't get me wrong. Really bad was a bit harsh. It's just that if you're planning on playing in a band then you might want to invest in a louder and more versatile amp.
I have a Blackstar Ht-1R and I recently built two old school Fender amps (the Champ and the Champ deluxe).
Could post some pics of the later if someone is interested.
Why do bass amps always look so dumb? They look like toys lol
>>61240486
stop playing with 200$ ibanez kids.
Really nice little amp, upgraded from
>>61238332
>>61239499
How do you like it? I got a 210 cab from that blue series, pretty decent sounding. They are fairly uncommon in europe.
i have a fender rumble 15w bass amp that i think sounds better than it should for $100. i play my guitar out of if too and can get a nice jangly tone
whats a good reverb or chorus pedal i could get for $50 or less? used or new
>>61240633
i had this until my dumb ass hit the on/off switch with the butt of my tele and broke it off. i think its a simple soldering job to fix but i havent got around to it
Call me a cheap faggot, but it's all I need.
I've had this for a very, very long time.
>>61240783
how often do you play it loud? do u record music?
>>61240517
That looks like it's made out of fucking plastic. Bass cabs always have that obnoxious giant-ly spaced grill over the cones
>>61240802
I live in an apartment, so not very often. When I used to rent a house I played loud about every day.
I don't record often, and mostly when I record it's so that I can play it back and hear my mistakes. The difference between what I hear while I'm playing vs what I hear when I'm playing it back is usually startling. I definitely consider it a hobby over a profession or anything.
Recently upgraded from the one in OP's pic to a Mustang 2. What's the consensus on the Mustang 2?
>>61240854
Why not just record direct with a sansamp or some other DI?
>>61240880
I've never been able to accurately reproduce the sound of these speakers. Mics are cheap, and I already had the interface.
>>61240916
Fair enough. Digging the DIY mic stand
guh. I have like 8 or 10 amps of various niceness
Here's the good one, a Leslie 910
>>61240925
$15 mic stand, $17 mic, and a $3.50 cable on amazon.
Not too bad lol
>>61240772
>muh nigga
V2?
Underneath the books, Peavey classic 30
>>61241001
nope, too much of a poorfag. pls don't bully the v1
>>61240970
>>61240970
that's pretty cheap. I prefer direct in for home bullshiting because its quiet and doesnt make my entire house rumble, can use headphones with it too.
>tfw mxr m80
>tfw no spare cash to swap it for a tech21 VT bass
So I want to buy a new amp but I don't know what to choose, Which one is better, Fender Mustang li V2 or Line 6 Spider lvl4?
>>61240965
As I think of them, I also have:
Fender Hotrod Deluxe (dem tubes)
Kustom 20 watt with some amazing reverb on it
Fender Power Chorus
Roland Cube 60
Peavey Vypyr 15
Peavey 112
Sunn Beta Bass 15"
Random ass no-name 4x10 bass amp
Another Leslie, not the classic kind, the rotosonic kind, forget the number.
Pic slightly related, elephant's ear speaker in my Yamaha Electone
>>61241095
I actually have XLR line out on the head, but it just doesn't capture the speakers own sound that I'm so used to. I've used some digital modeling and stuff and I've gotten good sounds, I just can't get my sound out of it. I'm sure someone could and maybe with some more expensive software, But I can't. Buuutt since I'm not trying to record and album and just play for pleasure and only record to hear myself and maybe send goofy birthday jingles to close friends. It's not a big deal
>>61238332
THD Flexi 50 & quadbox
H&K Edition tube 20th Anniversary
Roland Cube 120 Bass amp
>>61241275
Mustang if you like the fucking with effects. It is kinda hard to understand it but you'll get used to it. It doesn't handle pedals good enough and its kinda hard to find a default clean tone unless you use the FUSE thing. The metal tone is kinda muddy but I used a Tele with only single coils on it so you get the idea.
