Building a pedalboard for my guitar. What pedals (besides a tuner) should I get? What would you guys recommend?
Also, /pedal/ general.
>>
Get a red one.
>>
>>61231300
Does it matter what kind of pedal? Or just get a red one?
>>
Ignore other anon.

You def want a BLUE one
>>
>>61231926
How blue does it need to be?
>>
Get a Subdecay Siren Pitch Vibrato you stupid fucking idiot. It's BLUE.
>>
>>61231943
As blue as the ocean baby
>>

I'll agree with >>61231989
>>
>>61231989
I just got a Malekko.

Its cool and all but I wish I had gotten this instead!
>>
>>61232233
No joke, the Siren is stupidly underrated I love mine. I use it for bass and it fucking kills, the "Enchant" feature is really neat and makes for a more natural effect.
>>
>>61231255
Get a Rainbow Machine, just get one ok.
That shit rules.
>>
how do pedal boards work? is it routed through all the pedals at once and you just turn each one on or off as you wish?
>>
>>61232287
If I could, I'd get all the Earthquaker Devices.
>>61232299
Pretty much.
>>
>>61232299
Yes
>>
>>61232299
Yeah that's it. The board is just there to keep it all convenient.
>>
Don't listen to the other anons. What you need is a purple pedal.
>>
Any reccs for overdrive or distortion pedals?
>>
>>61231255
you don't need pedals

just get a 100w Marshall SLP with 2 4x12 cabs and a les paul. that is literally all you need. if you need anything more than that you are worthless as musician
>>
Are there any good harmonizer pedals that pair well with a Fuzz Factory and a bass guitar? I'm looking to get a richer, fuller tone since im playing with just me and a drummer in a noise rock duo. I want something that i can mess around with while while i loop a bass line. Pls help

theres a music shop here in Nashville that has a complete Earthquaker board that you can demo
>>
damn /mu/ is being dickish tonight, feeding OP nonsense about pedals and color

OP, you need pedals that look like elongated rectangles, not just rectangles
>>
>>61233195
How elongated do they need to be?
>>
>>61231255
What sounds are you interested in making?
>>
>>61233235
the more the better

This, only fuck your silly brand loyalty.

Yamaha G100, Sunn 215 and a Dillon DL600 w/ Bigsby Vibrato here. If you cant make your shit sound good without a crutch, you're playing guitar wrong.
>>
>>61233248
I'm looking to form a goth-y shoegaze band soon.
>>
>>61233319
Think Lycia and Whirr, but noisier.
>>
>>61233319
Get a chorus pedal for the Gothy sound (specifically the Boss SuperChorus or the EHX Small Clone). For shoegaze, it's delay and fuzz, so invest in an EHX Cathedral or Memory man, and for fuzz a Big Muff or Swollen Pickle or likewise.
>>
>>61233368
Thanks. What about reverb? I was looking at the Afterneath from Earthquaker Devices, but I don't want there to be reverb overkill
>>
>>61233319
>>61233368
What he said, but Proco Rats and Zvex pedals are good too, and EQ pedals can help a lot
>>
>>61233317
You should learn how to play well first. But you cant say effects dont make things sound really fucking cool.
>>
>>61232287
i feel that like that pedal is a one trick pony. is it more flexible than i think it is?
>>
>>61233397
I just use amp reverb, but a Verbzilla is pretty cool. Not familiar with an Afterneath but it looks legit.
>>61233406
Eh
>>
Just started playing recently (a few months ago) eventually want to do a Post rock band what pedals should I get in like 6 months when I can play decently enough to justify buying em
>>
>>61232698
What's it called? I haven't seen this. Been to a lot of the shops in Nashville but not all yet.
>>
>>61233319
>>61231255
Throw poo on your amp and make a new genre

Poogaze
