Which one should I buy?
-Marshall MG30CFX
-Blackstar ID Core 20
-Line6 Spider IV 30
I play mostly metal and already have a DS-1 boss distorsion pedal, a js22 dinky and a fender frontman 10g amplifier.
A friend of mine has that marshall one and its terrible

That Blackstar amp is great. Haven't used a Line6 before, but I have used my dad's solid state Marshall MG and it's awful. So I can only really suggest the Blackstar - if you look into reviews most will probably end up pointing you in the same direction.

The mg sounds like shit though. The black star Id 20 is the best of that size modelling amp. Also its true stereo.
For the record; line6 makes great rack units, and pedals. Its just the combos you wanna avoid

You can pick up a bunch of different 5w class tube amps for under 200 quid, Try some used music shops. If you do go solid state, go with the black star though, the marshal sucks balls and the line 6's modeling tech is like 10 years out of date.
Its going to sound terrible anyways.

Anything solid state 30w is terrible. If you only wanna practice at home, why not choose a POD preamp? Yeah, some fags will tell you "It's sounds like shit" but if you're capable of getting some decent computer speakers you can get a much better sound, a bunch of different amp modelers and also you can record with no problem. I have a Line6 UX2 and I've been very happy with it so far. Now, if you wanna jam wih a drummer go with the Blackstar or Line 6, but I wouldn't recommend any of them for that matter. Stay the hell away from anything Marshall's solid state amps.
