was about to well, actually... but listening to that first PoH album, you could def get away with calling them pure hardcore. They were p rad later too. triumphant.
>>61218652
well pure post-hardcore

first off, i want to establish that i am old. too old. i have seen infest live about 5-6 times and i just want to say that as a longtime hardcore guy i have always thought joe's vox are the cheesiest dumbest sounding things in the world.
much prefer man is the bastard.

>much prefer man is the bastard.
me too but power violence was by far the weakest aspect of that band
>>61218806
>i have always thought joe's vox are the cheesiest dumbest sounding things in the world.
What can I say, I dig them. The team-building posi-core lyrics probably put me over the top.

I vaguely remember hearing about these guys. The screeching is annoying but the drums and stops/time changes are on point. Reminds me of Reach Out & Loomis Slovak

I loved this record when I was young. But I never considered it hc. Well produced, intelligible vocals, not fast.
But going back and listening to it, it sounds super heavy and angry.
