I have a friend who claims to be a "student of hip hop," yet he hasn't listened to TPAB yet. He says he was turned off by the jazzy influences early on and just stopped listening. Then he goes and listens to G-Eazy instead. What do?

Now, I don't like G-Eazy, but I've given TPAB 3 listens. It's never grown on me; I still think Section 80 is his best album though, so what do I know?
