dunno man, but I find my american start exceptionally playable. Sounds a bit too much like a "guitar player's guitar" with it's noodly tone, but god is it fun to play rhythm on.
Go to a fucking store a fucking test some you fucking autist

None of them have guitars that are Left Handed!
I play guitar Left Handed!

Depends on what you're making. Different guitars have different tones when it comes to construction and electronic parts being utilized in a way that you get a certain sound you want for your music. A Fender strat is going to sound pretty unique compared to say a zakk wylde les paul. It all comes down to personal taste.
Stop sitting on your ass, go to your local guitar shop and try as many guitars that look interesting to you

I've played a lot of different guitars before but I want something new!
Like something surfy with a little waooo and twing to it

Rickenbackers and Mosrites are your best bet then
Also look for any cheap chorus/reverb and flanger pedals that will make the surfiness come out more

I have an 80s American Charvel, it is like playing a strat without playing a strat. I get what you mean by a "guitar player's guitar", it the Mexican strats and squires also come across as the "I don't know anything about guitar" players first guitar. I also have a Richmond Dorchester (my main guitar, like the one pictured right) and a Les Paul. They are both fuck off heavy guitars and it can be quite nice to play the much lighter Charvel (strat) sometimes.

Telecaster
What about a Phantom or Teardrop?
