Pet Sounds is just an incredible album, one of the greatest ever made, if not THE greatest - it's a visionary, immersive experience
The first VU album is fantastic as well, and is one of the greatest art rock records - great songwriting, and John Cale's fusion of avant-garde noise and garage rock is wonderful, and set the stage for so much music
DSotM is overrated by most, but underrated by this board - it is a bit bland in some places, but it essentially combines space rock experimentation with songwriting focusing on the universal human experience
Revolver is extremely overrated IMO, and I think it's inferior to The White Album, Sgt. Pepper's, Abbey Road, Let It Be, and even Magical Mystery Tour

Why is Dark Side of the Moon up there? It's at least 5 years older than the other three. It's way more sophisticated, and clearly the best. Should have chosen Piper at the Gates of Dawn, maybe.

Objectively, Pet Sounds should win. Musicians are constantly praising Brian's unusual chords and complex harmonies in his songs. Not even mentioning god tier arrangements.
