So, does anyone here have any actual reasons why this is bad or not as good as In Utero?
>...
yeah didn't think so
And I really REALLY don't understand how anyone who describes themselves as being "into music" could prefer Nevermind over Bleach.

ANOTHER
Why is everybody freaking out with this album now? It was released way before In Utero and Nevermind

FOR YOUR STAIN?
Buddy, you shouldn't worry of such trivial things.
>>61197866
Bleach is good, but just generic grunge. Nevermind has everything that makes Nirvana great. IMO you should just listen to Mudhoney.
Stop memeing this fucking album
>>61198269
Bleach is much better than any Mudhoney album, stop being a contrarian
>>61198315
>contrarian
says the guy who legitimately thinks Bleach is better than Nevermind
>>61198414
it is
How can you think bleach is better than nevermind? Lyrically bleach is pretty garbage, the only song that has good lyrics is about a girl which hinted to what he would later write in the future. nevermind.
>>61197866
Nevermind is entry level
In Utero is 2 yrs experience
Bleach + everything else is 3-5 years experience
Also I love bleach BUT I like some of the live versions of those songs better. Specifically Negative Creep live on the wishkah record and Live at Reading.

it is

It's a close match between those two, but In Utero has better production, more variety, it's both more heavy/aggressive and calm, and it just is more consistent. Bleach is still great though.

School was better live too imo, and not a Bleach song but Spank Thru on Muddy Banks of the Wishkah is absolutely god tier
>>61199549
Because lyrics means nothing, Bleach is better musically.

I don't like the way the drums are produced on Bleach. They don't sound good to me. Meanwhile I think everything was produced well on In Utero.
Bleach and nevermind can't be compared in my opinion. Both albums got a different vibe and sound. Nevermind is a more creative grunge album, and bleach is more punk rather than grunge.
