this is clearly influenced by the money store
u are clearly influenced by all the dicks in your mouth
strange how overwhelming it sounds but feels like shit splattering everywhere and all the memes and stuff though
captain beefheart even
everything is pointing me in direction to like it but i can't listen to this rey+cyclage trashy product

#ETHERED
>>61188558
no
it really is
even by the overnment plates but more the money store
sampling and chopping arabian sounds

Or it might just be the currently most popular and by far easiest way to nail a hook in pop music, dumbshit.
If you said it was inspired the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears, I'd have agreed with you.
>>61188758
no
it's clearly influenced by death grips
justin timberlake and britney spears too
the second and third bit is why i hate it
Not really, guy
Justin Timberlake though, wouldn't be surprised
>>61188859
the money store influence is obvious in the sounds of this album
the government plates era / fatima al qadiri for videos
justin timberlake for vocals yeah
>>61188836
no
it's clearly influenced by pop in general
no more death grips than anybody else
but especially 90s pop
if you can't acknowledge that the spears and timberlake hooks are what make it so good
you're a dumbshit
>>61188900
how is deconstructing timberlake and spears good in any way
or more precisely on this particular album
or am i not getting the "style IS the substance" vibe from it
>>61188891
The only evidence you've supplied it the fact that there are arabic-sounding vocals and DG sampled a song from Music from Saharan Cellphones on one single song.
You're not good at this
>>61188976
the maximalist approach and the bigger picture too
but that particular song with arabic sounds and the overall maximalist approach and the chopped sounds on a microscopic scale in a pop aspect of it all is what clearly calls to mind the money store if you're not being too hypocritical

Capturing the unconquerable nature of those major pop stars, splicing it up, cranking the volume to 11, and delivering it at light speed is very much of our time. It's postmodern in examining those hooks-- louder! faster!-- in a blistering pace to keep up with a can't-wait culture.
>>61188976
>DG sampled a song from Music from Saharan Cellphones on one single song
also, that is wrong
bitch please
get got
punk weight
double helix
maybe even
fever
but i'm not sure
so yeah, you're wrong about that
>>61189022
Bingo! You just solved your own problem
>clearly calls to mind the money store
That can absolutely be true without the artist ever once hearing the band in question. You personally drew that connection, you have no evidence that Clarity drew inspiration from them
And as a fan of DG I need to point out that in no way shape or form did they invent maximalist production
>>61189096
you're not quite a fan of dg if you say stuff like
>DG sampled a song from Music from Saharan Cellphones on one single song
that's simply inaccurate
also, wouldn't you like them being connected to aspiring pop stars as an influence (oh yeah but that isn't the case! you might lie to yourself) if you're a dg fan
also, i explained it in my previous post more closely
it's not just "invent maximalist production"
The biggest problem with your argument, OP, is that out of the many influences Clarity has sited... Miley Cyrus, Backstreet Boys, Timberlake, Spears, Beefheart, etc.... he hasn't once mentioned Death Grips. Nobody would hold it over his head if he admitted an influence, and it's certainly likely he would if he actively engaged that thought.
Also, on that note, you could say Death Grips were inspired by the Beatnigs, Living Colour, Kanye West and clipping. just because there are some vague similarities. This can be carried to the nth degree; ad infinitum.
>>61189297
>he hasn't once mentioned Death Grips
he doesn't have to
it's obvious
not everything is black n white in public
>>61189297
>Timberlake, Spears, Beefheart
those i have mentioned itt already, so it's not like i wasn't aware of it
i listened to the album a few times
and i also heard the money store influence
you can only deny death grips influence if you're too hypocritical in the way that britney spears influence is oh more cool because it became something bigger and more progressive
>>61188495
oh maaaan, thanks for turning me on to this, OP. this is tight
>>61188558
got him good bro
>>61189574
yeah, people tend to act that way when the truth they hate is exposed
low brow humor, in other words
>>61189638
sorry i don't speak dickmouth
>>61189638
>>61189398
Why do you presume we'll be offended even if you're right? So what?
You know what, here you go: 'No Now' is inspired by Death Grips. There it is. This has all been a conspiracy to trick you into thinking there was no connection. But there was! Surprise!
What do you want? Would that influence devalue the album? You're not the first one to point out the similarities either. You have nothing to gain except an, "Okay, I can hear that." Glad we could have this chat; it was apparently of great value to you.
>>61189759
you seem disturbed
why?
this album has no replay ability after you "get" it.
>>61188558
Rekt
>>61189960
true
the beefheart influence is not enough
>>61189347
>It's not white, it's black!
Your logic.
Did Sephirot... Do this?
>>61189855
Because >>61189638 and >>61189398 are being idiots.
Why are you asking why he seems disturbed to you???!?!????
>>61190144
you shouldn't spend so much time on 4chan, honestly
>>61190265
Great contribution, I totally see your point.
