I'm currently exploring minimal synth but it gets quite tedious to just listen to one genre of music. I need a genre I can explore simultaneously. What genre should I explore, /mu/? (something rather contemporary would be great)
Space age pop, exotica, rock n roll, delta blues
Neo folk, martial industrial, power electronics
Haha welcome to 4chan!
You should listen to nigger, Jew or sjw lmao haha memes faggot oops hurt your feelings? 4chan music good discussion smart people

What's your favorite band, not all time but first one that pops into your head

Cannibal Corpse

>lmao who needs discussion better just meme on 4chan

Good now today at some point you should start a discussion on /mu/ about that and actually try and make it a real discussion. /mu/ used to have good discussion, but now it's just the typical 4chan "shit" or "great" discussion where no actual discussion takes place.
>why doesn't anybody like this album
>20 replies saying "I like it"
>20 saying "it sucks"
>nothing of any kind of substance
I mean fuck guys we're anonymous here, one person saying they like it is good enough you aren't gaining any points for repeating other strangers

B-but anon, I'd much rather listen to music. I'm just here to get a rec. for a genre
>>61181636
Already done with neo folk/martial ind.. At least for the moment. Maybe I'll try powerelectronics. Any other ideas?
>>61181837
Ok that's fine but honestly you should just pick your own genre, or list some artists you like and let people go off that, recommendations is not a weak point of /mu/ fortunately, but discussion has definitely fallen off.

Techno, ambient and disco in all shapes and forms.

Djent
More suggestions? I need something that is completly different compared to minimal synth. It'd be great if it's also contemporary.
