Getting discussed here is hardly a worthwhile metric because most of the people here go out of their way to listen to niche stuff only to be seen listening to it. Jane's is totally overrated because they are credited with "creating" alternative as a genre (Perry coined the term supposedly) but many other bands were working before them. And calling Jane's grunge is fucking retarded; you might as well call Faith No More and RHCP grunge too.
