>>
>>61163223
sorry op but vaporwave is dead again but if you wait a few months it might come back
>>
I personally find this album is very comfy. It really reminds me of the Christmas times I used to go to the beach with my parents and go back home while I watch the sunset through the trip. I know it may not be revolutionary or anything but I just enjoy listening to the songs and I like the samples used so yeah.

I'm not saying I like vaporwave, I'm just curious if anyone knows any albums that made them feel something foreign, teenage pregnancy (from this album) made me feel, so off, I can't really describe it.

This song by Aphex Twin also made me feel, "weird?" It's kinda like a auditory uncanny valley.
>>
/mu/ doesn't like vaporwave right now idk why

they turned against it after the 2814 rolling stone article and /r/vaporwave getting big i think
>>
>>61163577
>vaporwave is dead

it is m8
name one significant vaporwave release this year that isnt fuccboi bandcamp frankjavcee shit

deaths dynamic shround.wmv's new album

Vaporwave is about the aesthetic and feeling more than the music. Aesthetic makes it vaporwave. You could just say vaporwave is chopped and screwed plunderphonics or 80s synthpop/city pop with aesthetics on top of it, but it isnt, its vaporwave because of the image and underlying message behind it. 2814 was meant to be a vaporwave album, it has vaporwave aesthetics, and it conveys the feeling of a cyberpunk dystopia. It's indisputably vaporwave and you should kill yourself.

literally all vaporwave is fuccboi bandcamp shit

Is this a talentless hack / viral general?
>>
For every great vaporwave album there's 100 shit ones and most of them were made by /mu/tants.

You autistic memers need to give up, you have no talent.
>>
>>61164491
It's the latter

Garden of Delete isn't vaporwave. OPN hasn't been vaporwave since Eccojams
>>61164644
Never heard of any of these. None of these albums were significant outside of the existing vaporwave fanbase. I'm talking about albums that music websites seriously talk about and albums that get a lot of hype and discussion outside of designated vaporwave communities (i.e. stuff like Far Side Virtual, Hit Vibes, Floral Shoppe, 2814, etc.). These albums might be good, but they haven't made a huge impact beyond people who already like the genre.

Different guy, but the thread says nothing about this being an aesthetic vaporware thread. Just "albums that make you feel things you can't discribe"

So idk, just because you haven't been paying attention doesn't mean nothings happening.
