He's right though, no rock music ever made from 1970 on will ever be better than anything from tpab. Certainly never dull and derivative shit like Ought. Tpab is a masterpiece summing popular black music over the 20th century with surpassing the social commentary of 1971 masterpiece What's Going On by Marvjn Gaye and 1972 funk classic Superfly by Curtis Mayfield. The defining album of this generation of Black folk. Truly a privilege it is to have it
