"Electronic" can mean an anxious and overwhelming number of things. Is there anything you like that you can start with?

Otherwise like Boards of Canada or Strfkr, or like, Blockhead are like, three different branches you can work in from.

Use RYM. Download albums you find on RYM with Soulseek, a p2p program built by electronic music addicts. If you're looking for background electronic stuff, look into Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, The Orb, KLF, and Helios.

Try Clarke - Body Riddle and Prefuse 73 - Preparations.

If you're already into BoC, check out maybe Janeiro Jarel/Dr. Who Dat, or Black Moth Super Rainbow or Amon Tobin, or Jega Jazzist.

Oh fuck off moron. Its been around for like 20 years
>>
ill start you off
Biosphere
Jan Jelinek
Aphex Twin
Deepchord
Voices From The Lake
The Field
Loscil
Gas
Monolake
Mouse On Mars
Orbital
Yagya
Basic Channel
Windy & Carl
Global Communication
Murcof
Fennesz
Terreke
Luomo
Florian Kupfer
if youre anything like me then the best genres for study would be ambient, ambient techno, minimal techno, dub techno, deep house & drone
id suggest looking up those on RYM then making you way from there, listen through artists discographies, /mu/ essentials charts, labels that those artists are on etc.

Lol. Spotted the newest of the newfags. Remember gnucleus, morpheus and emule? Yeah, didn't think so. People stopped using them 10 years ago for the same reason. Insecure protocols with no encryption that leave your network vulnerable like a naked virgin in a Turkish prison. The only difference between those and slsk is that slsk managed to hang around long enough to get a nouveau hipster following. Enjoy your ransomware and nastygrams from Comcast.

People have used it for years and have never had problems with their ISP. Soulseek limits what filetypes you can upload, and furthermore, uses secure protocols, can indeed use encryption, and can automatically block public access to your files. You don't know what you're talking about. The real reasons all those other services shut down is because they were garbage with no organization, and tons of shitty porn.

I pretty much listen to entry level /mu/core electronic exclusively circa 2010

I can't figure out how to find the copy paste thing from the old last fm. So you'll have to look at my library.

>uses secure protocols
Nope
>can indeed use encryption
Nope, which is what makes the protocol insecure. Protocol obfuscation != encryption
>can automatically block public access to your files
Which completely defeats the purpose of "file sharing", and would shut down the network if everybody practiced it.
>You don't know what you're talking about
No, you're just a badly misinformed retard.

Half of all users do this, and give you access when you join specific genre rooms and ask. Communication is key, but what would you know about communication? You clearly have some kind of social disorder

Soulseek is literally open source. You can configure it however you want. And if you're that paranoid about how it doesn't spoonfeed you encryption and does a quick fix port obfuscation, why don't you use a VPN?

nice list, would add early autechre, especially amber, and trade luomo for vladislav delay for coherence, anima is absolutely fantastic for relaxing, and add future sound of london to that
