Soulseek limits what filetypes you can upload, and furthermore, uses secure protocols, can indeed use encryption, and can automatically block public access to your files. Soulseek is literally open source. You can configure it however you want. And if you're that paranoid about how it doesn't spoonfeed you encryption and does a quick fix port obfuscation, why don't you use a VPN?
