I think musicians peak early because music is a pretty personal thing look at Rivers Cuomo he was celibate and wrote Pinkerton. Now he gets all the pussy he wants and has money and fame and he writers Beverly Hills. so its harder to write when your set whereas a painters perspective doesn't really change because its not personal same goes for Director and even comedian to an extent they just spent longer studying human behaviour.
