Marshall Tucker Band is a great classic rock band that doesn't ever get any recognition.

Mutations, Midnite Vultures, Sea Change, Modern Guilt and Guero all came out after 97 and have been critically acclaimed/cult classics. They're not on the radio or known by most people, but Beck's stuff aside from loser are all loved in niche indie circles.
