Ipod classic got a big dent, and now it only gives sound in one ear. Should I attempt to open it up and fix it? I don't care how ugly it'll look, but I want to know if it's feasible without fucking it up even further.
Or should I maybe get a mono converter or something like that, I honestly don't mind listening to mono.
I don't really need this ipod, I'm mostly using my phone with a 64GB card. Though it would be nice to fit more albums and also having the longer-lasting battery

Do yourself better & just get a 128Gb card & one of those bigger batteries for your phone model.

I work at a factory where we have plenty of tools to open it, I'm just afraid I'll fuck it up and I really don't know how to repair it if I open it

Think you have bigger problems than the fact that the piece of shit's broke, dude.

I know apple is shit but that doesn't mean that 160GB + nice battery is not a damn nice thing to have, especially when it was a gift.
>>61095083
yes it's fixable. but if you don't already know how to do it, you can't just watch a youtube video. do you have a mini soldering iron? do you know how to use it?
>>61097241
Have one, know how to use it, but I'm not very good, I guess I'll try though

I opened up my iPhone once when I dropped it and accidentally dislodged a connection for the screen, and it works fine to this day. He might have just dislodged something too, but if he severed a cord, well, he's fucked. It's worth opening the thing up to see though.
you guys think using an angle grinder would be a good idea to open it?
>>61095083
Just but the back panel and headphone jack from ebay and replace it. I've done it myself, it's easy as fuck.

I just don't see the big deal about it
