Nice quads, and you should be fine even with closed back if you have good volume discipline. Speakers are preferable but if that's not an option just save up and go open back.

I had the faintest tinnitus, and so high-pitched that I just assumed absolute silence wasn't possible for the human ear since it wasn't for mine. If you still experience true silence, you're probably not doing anything wrong really
