Nah. The album is a complete mess. A disaster.

I have not, though I plan to get more into PiL soon. Metal Box is real good.

I'm not a huge detractor of Jarrett, but the Köln concert isn't all that's it's cracked up to be

how can you be so wrong in so many ways saying so little

Don't give up on Kieth Jarret just yet.
Koln isn't great, but "Changeless" with Gary Peacock & Jack DeJohnette is a landmark in jazz. Worth your time.
>>61084140
you literally don't need any kind of "training" to listen to anything
nothing wrong at all with rating classical
jesus fuck do you even like music bro

The album's like he watched one Nirvana documentary, said to himself "I wanna make an album like these guys!", then he listened to In Utero (the deluxe edition with a second disc of demos, of course!) and said "Ok so this is what grunge is, got it!" and didn't even try researching it any further. Then he tried playing guitar, but realized he has no idea how to play, so he just did one chord and looped it through a span of 3-5 minutes. The album is 26 tracks long; 18 on the first disc, and 8 songs of demos and outtakes on the second disc that he probably made just so he could be like Nirvana or something and have all of these outtakes attached to a second disc on the album, but it's not like this is a deluxe edition or anything, this is on the main album, which is just weird. He sings like he's drunk throughout the whole album, the lyrics are laughably terrible, and there are FOUR songs on this album that include skits from Mike Judge voicing Beavis & Butthead, as if Cudi's album was playing on MTV and the two of them were commentating on the tracks.
It's laughably bad. Listen if you want, I thought it was hilarious.
