Has to be Critical Recordings for me, they manage to produce enough new sounding things to keep the genre interesting but are still able to release stuff which sounds sufficiently old school at times.
Samurai Music is also good but they can get a bit too Ambient D&B for me at times.
Exit are usually pretty good as well.
Med School have now solidified their place as one of the front running new D&B labels after Hospital's gutter trash output since 2010.
Also Subtle Audio is great but they don't release things that often which is a shame.
Paradox seems to be carrying on releasing stuff on his labels so maybe he'll restart Outsider Music, they release some good stuff.
And Metalheadz's META catalog releases are their best work since their original releases in the early 90s.

There was a brief period where late Jungle and early D&B sounded similar but then the difference becomes clear. Jungle's sort of defining feature used to be the way it's Amens were chopped up into the tracks. They used to have ragga and dancehall samples but so did other things, it was the way the breakbeats were programmed which made Jungle what it was.
D&B on the other hand when it got into it's own never had as meticulous amen programming as Jungle did. The breakbeat was more straightforward and more emphasis was put either on the bassline (as was the case in early Jump Up) or the synths (as was the case in early Neurofunk).

This was a genre of music which didn't exist outside of one location despite being around since the early to mid 90s and then at the tail end of 2010 suddenly became popular and grew in popularity rapidly. I'm sure there are some people who think the latest phase of Footwork is shit compared to the old stuff.
Also it's popular in Japan, once a genre becomes popular in Japan you know the rest of the world has heard it already.
