I've thrown a couple of great parties with my friends who DJ this year, and we feel like we're on to something. We're still in the very early planning stages right now, but if I decide to really try to be a promoter, I feel like it'd be good/fun to know how to DJ. So I'm starting by listening to this whole chart. So:

Just in terms of throwing parties. We're doing it well and we made money on the last one. The underground scene where I live is alive but slow moving, there's definitely space for us to add to it.

idk i'm still figuring out the landscape of the genre. there's this weird disconnect i have between jeff mills/derrick may og detroit stuff and everything coming out of germany/the uk right now. know anything about that transition?

Reddit is usually complete garbage (especially with music shit)/but the techno community on there is surprisingly alright, definitely check it out for some recs.
