Are there any math-rock mixed with jazz fusion or maybe post-rock bands?
Try the Denison-Kimball Trio. Some Lounge Lizards and Slint's first album seem to touch on that meld as well. This is guitar-based jazz, with angular guitars and occasionally ingest tone signatures. Never come across a solid blend of the two, but those three groups would provide a springboard for exploration
