too much bad guitar and vocals going on. it feels like you trying too much to be bad.

would really much appreciate donations as i need to buy new strings
>>61049752
i've listened only to first track - guitar sound is so fucking good but there's no point as its too quiet.
>>61049806
Too quiet? I sort of agree, I think the fuzz pedal was a little lacking on the volume side on things. I'll remember to make sure it's loud enough to flood your head with bass next time.
Thanks for the criticism anon.

I like this alot, I have a soft spot for alot of the emo // lo-fi stuff in these threads and this is no exception
this is a friends project (that I have also invested a lot of time in) I'd like to hear some feedback. It is a little over produced, but we are producing the next one together with a 6 track

music and vocals are great. Can't understand some of what is being said but I don't mind. like the lack of repetition.

reminds a lot of elliot smith. i really like it, but its a pity that voice sounds kind of drowned - like you lower the cutoff or something
>>61049739
I like it a lot. The abrupt time changes are executed well. drums could be a little lighter or feel more driving
>>61049752
this feels like it meandering almost. you might need drums (suspended cymbals, classical bass drum, or deep concert snare) or bass guitar to fill it out a little. It sounds great though
>>61049791
really into this. I will listen to this in full later. I like your voice, it's super deep like that dude from the magnetic fields or tom waits or something.
>>61049948
I actually live in Daytona Beach USA. I will listen to this when I'm stoned, if the thread is up I'll tell you what I thought later
>>61049970
sounds like lo fi radio rock. Work on tuning your voice
>>61049975
this is cool. I'm not very versed on electronic music, but I like the slight techno feel. Would go rolling and dance to/10
>>61050173
he (and I) like slowdive and elliot smith, so he sung super whispery and they were recorded a bit too low. We're fixing that on the next LP we're working on.

>>61049752 here. I think drums would be a horrible idea, wouldn't fit at all, although I have already started learning bass guitar and am planning on incorporating it into my music. Thanks for the feedback.

I don't think this >>61049739 is that bad. Off-key singing is a huge part of the emo sound, to be honest. It's not intentionally being bad, its not caring if you're conventionally good as long as the feeling is right.
>>61049970
Ironically, this one was really dragged down by the vocals. Either work on singing accurately, or be more agressive with your vocals until it reaches a point where it doesn't matter because you're basically just shouting.
>>61049975
I think the tracks are a little sort but overall I like it. The second track had a certain drive to it that the first one didn't and would have benefitted from. The first once just kind of lazed along and didn't feel that danceable.
>>61050803
This was pretty interesting, combining sound collage/found sound-ish techniques with Vocaloid(?) and normal electronic stuff. I like it a lot. But too many of the songs start the same way, with a build-up from complete silence. It's hard to do much else when you want it to be chill, but you can find a way. I believe in you.
>>61049970
ouch the vocals
>>61051025
thanks for this advice mate, i haven't really noticed that before so i'll try new builds for the next tracks
(and no vocaloid, it's just voice-samples of animes, friends or me)
