10 songs into a double album and I've only liked one song, not a good sign is it? Of course I know "1979" is coming up and that is a tremendous song I never get tired of but boy that is looking like a long wait. These guys sure wrote a lot of corny songs for this album

It's of a time
Yeah, it has a lot of filler in it. The highlights are pretty good though.
What was the one song you liked so far?
>>61019702
True. Every release I've heard from them so far I've only liked bits of, but those bits add up to really strong series of songs. It's just that there is a trail of not so good ones in their wake. Siamese Dream seems like the closest they've come to a strong, cohesive release.

So I have this opinion where I think every song that is on Mellon Collie
is important in their own way, and I think you should listen to it in the
context of a concept album like every song is telling their own story.
It makes it much more bearable and likeable in my opinion to listen to.

Go on
>>61020105
I've personally grown to like almost all of the tracks minus that We Only Come Out at Night-Beautiful-Lily (My One and Only) run
>>61020105
they might all be important in context but it doesn't stop them from sounding like shit
Siamese Dream is so much better it's not even close.

Zero is fucking good you faggots holy shit
>>61020426
What's up with this meme? I have and always will love those tracks.

Maybe he just went bald by choice even tough he still had the capacity to grow perfectly decent hair
A lot of people do that
>>61019678
Siamese Dream is way, WAY better. I mean, I like Mellon Collie as well, but it took a while for it to grow on me. There's just way too much filler.
it has been scientifically proven that billy corgan's voice sounds 32% more like squidward's every album
