Hey /mu/, I have anger management and depression problems. Music has helped me greatly, mainly just music to chill out to with some drinks. What are /mu/'s favorite "chill" albums? I really like folky kind of music like joanna newsom, nick drake, vaporwave, tim buckley, brian eno etc.
the only /comfy/ album you need is by musette, the first one
Carissa's Wierd
Endtroducing...
Long Season
The Low End Theory
Kind Of Blue
Holy shit be sure to check out Mark Lanegan, he's the GOAT drink folky artist. His early stuff specially.

Try out Steve Tilston, maybe some John Martyn too and Bert Jansch. A personal recommendation would be some american primitivism. John Fahey - Fare Forward Voyagers and Robbie Basho - Visions of the country are both fantastic and give a comfy feel. If you're willing to try some jazz, try The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time out or pic related which is bossa nova.
Suadade by Thievery Corperation is pretty chill along with most of their stuff.

I usually play Duster, but I feel like that would make you more depressed.
Worth a shot.

Harmonia were Brian Eno's German best friends and they made some hella chill records.
Any krautrock will do as well. Ash Ra Tempel is terminally chill for example.
Early Felice Brothers, and also Jason Webley's first 2-3 albums and all his collaborative stuff.
