What music communities besides /mu/ do you guys browse?
I mainly browse RYM, last.fm and /mu/.
IDMForums and a few facebook groups.
reddit :-)
Just /mu/, what.cd and a couple of private lossless only private trackers (E and P if anyone's interested).
Wouldn't mind getting on the #/music/ channel. I heard they've opened up invites recently for the first time in years. Anyone know about that?

There used to be some myths surrounding it as an invite-only /mu/ spin-off circa the early days of this board, around 2007.
It's mentioned infrequently but from my understanding it's occupied by industry insiders and actual artists and the former /mu/tants who created it.
Ocasionally they open the doors from what I've heard, but otherwise they just selectively invite people whose last.fm/RYM/discogs/profiles of other private sites they like.
Always sounded interesting but never been able to get close. If anyone knows a man on the inside then I'd appreciate a tip, haha!
I didn't go to music communities, I went to music.

You can just ask someone you know for an invitation, hardly a secret club.
